Allan Cumming established the practice in September 1990 following 20 years in the industry, mostly in contracting. Having experienced the difficulties associated with installing systems designed by other consultants, it was felt that improvements could be made by initiating a new standard for design. Allan Cumming is not only a Low Carbon Consultant, but also a Certifier of Design. This can cut months off the time required to go through Building Control, as well as offering significant savings.

Through our location at the Centre of Edinburgh and by utilizing the latest software, we are well positioned to serve the needs of our clients quickly and efficiently.

The core practice philosophy however, remains the strongly held belief that time spent at the design stage in preparing clear and concise design information and detailed tender and construction drawings, produces a trouble free on -site installation ensuring programme compliance and effective cost control.
